We set off from the manageable city of Frankfurt to the metropolises of the world. In KiezPalast, our original concert revue surprise format, we roam the bustling streets of New York, glamorous Paris or the dance halls of Buenos Aires together with the hr-Sinfonieorchester. Our city guide is Katja Riemann, an actress, singer and author who enjoys travelling in various genres and genres anyway. She leads us through a musical, literary and semi-staged programme that tells of the fascination of urban life as well as its darker sides. Of intoxication, dense impressions and unlimited possibilities, but also of the longing for balance in nature. And what should a liveable city of the future actually look like? The KiezPalast takes a humorous look at the many facets of this topic, moving musically and literarily from classical music to chanson and from the past to the present.
