When Dr Stephan Leithner is a guest in the series 'My favourite play' at the beginning of February 2026, he will be able to look back on his first year in a prestigious position: The Austrian has been Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Börse since 2025. Of course, the manager has long been associated with the city of Frankfurt through his previous professional positions, including as a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank. But when he accepts the invitation to take to the podium in the Mozartsaal, it will be less about finance and more about his very personal musical preferences. Leithner will talk about his favourite music and his favourite piece of music, which will be played twice - once before and once after the interview. The second guest at the morning event will be Uwe Paulsen, the Green Party's spokesman on economic, scientific and cultural policy.
