Political conflicts affect cultural life. The afternoon event at the PRIF - Leibniz Institute for Peace and Conflict Research will provide insights into the dynamics of social conflict. Professor Dr Christopher Daase, member of the Executive Board, will begin by tracing the arc from music to peace and conflict research. Dr Irene Weipert-Fenner, who researches authoritarian regimes and social movements at PRIF, will talk about repression and revolution in the Arab world.
