Tony Scott's 1986 film ‘Top Gun’ reached breathtaking heights, not least thanks to the world-famous song ‘Take My Breath Away’ and the soundtrack by Harold Faltermeyer. Even back then, there was speculation about a sequel to the screen epic and its film music. The sequel ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ by Joseph Kosinski followed 36 years later and, with six Oscar nominations and one Oscar win, is considered one of the most successful films of all time. The film music experience ‘Top Gun: Maverick - in Concert’ follows on from this. While the award-winning blockbuster is shown on the big screen, a large symphony orchestra brings the soundtrack to life live in the concert hall.

Packed with a breath of fresh air under its wings, the soundtrack continues the musical legacy of ‘Top Gun’ from 1986.
