Season 2024/25: For all events marked in this way, schoolchildren, students and trainees up to 25 years of age, persons doing voluntary military service, the unemployed and holders of the Frankfurt Pass and the Frankfurt Culture Pass will receive remaining tickets - if sufficient are available - at a standard price of EURO 15,- upon presentation of the respective proof from 1 hour before the performance begins.

PRO ARTE Frankfurt Konzertdirektion
For PRO ARTE events, schoolchildren and students up to 27 years of age, persons doing voluntary and military service, unemployed persons and holders of the Frankfurt Pass receive remaining tickets at EURO 20,- upon presentation of the respective ID.

Frankfurt Museum Society
For the Monday- and Chamber Concerts of the Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft, remaining tickets in price groups 3 to 6 are available at the box office of the Alte Oper from one hour before the concert begins as a discounted evening box office (VA) for young people up to 27 years of age at a uniform price of EURO 9.-, for concertgoers over 65 years of age for EURO 18.-, and for holders of the Culture Pass for EURO 3.-. The Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft reserves the right to exclude individual concerts from VA ticket sales or to limit the number of VA tickets.
Discounts on advance ticket sales
For events by the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Frankfurter Bachkonzerte e.V., Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft and Hessischer Rundfunk (excluding "Junge Konzerte" ("Young Concerts"), info available via: hr ticket centre, tel. +49 (0)69-1552000), the severely disabled receive tickets at half-price upon the presentation of the appropriate ID (from 80 %) at the advance booking offices of Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain, as do school students, students and trainees up to the age of 25. Exceptions are marked accordingly.
The discount is personal and non-transferable. The corresponding ID (proof of entitlement) must be presented together with the admission ticket upon admission. If the ID presented does not contain a photograph, a photo ID (e.g. identity card, driving licence) must also be presented. Otherwise, the visitor must expect to be refused admission to the event without being entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

The ticket price includes the journey to and from the venue within the entire travelling (tariff) zone of the RMV. Valid from five hours before the performance begins until the end of RMV operating hours. Use of 1st class only available with a surcharge.

The respective organiser has the right to decide upon the granting of discounts.

Alte Oper is offering all young people up to the age of 25 concert tickets for all events promoted by Alte Oper at a price of ten euros - and these tickets are already available in advance. Tickets are available at all Frankfurt Ticket advance booking offices and can be booked by telephone and online. Some concerts are excluded from the offer ande the contingent is limited. Admission to the concert is only possible on presentation of a valid identity document.

Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of issue. Payment in cash is not possible.

General terms and conditions

The events in the publications of the Alte Oper Frankfurt are usually already on advance sale. Exceptions to this rule are marked accordingly with a reference to the expected start of advance ticket sales.

All ticket orders are handled by the company Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain GmbH. Therefore, the purchase of tickets is also subject of the General Terms and Conditions of Business of Frankfurt Ticket in the currently valid version. Please note that tickets ordered at short notice by post or e-mail may not be processed in time. In case of doubt, please contact the ticket hotline 069 - 13 40 400 or book your ticket via the webshop and print your ticket at home. As a rule, it is possible to reserve tickets for 10 days without obligation and to pick them up or pay during this time. Reserved tickets that have not been paid for by the option date will be cancelled and put back on sale.

The final price consists of the ticket price, RMV ticket charge, service charge, advance booking fee and system charge.

The RMV ticket included in the final price is valid for the return journey to the event in the entire RMV tariff zone, from 5 hours before the performance begins until the close of business. Use of 1st class is only possible with a surcharge. This also applies to print@home tickets, which must be personalised when purchased for use with the RMV public-transport authority.

Holders of personalised reduced-price tickets must present the appropriate proof of entitlement upon admission. Otherwise, visitors must pay a surcharge on top of the normal price or expect to be denied admission to the event, without being entitled to a refund of the ticket price.

Children under 6 years of age - even if accompanied by a parent or guardian - are not allowed to attend the AOF's own events, with the exception of all events of Pegasus (concerts for children, young people and families) and those events expressly designated as children's events.

In principle, there is no right to exchange or return purchased tickets.

In the event of cancellation or final cancellation of the event, visitors are entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid by them, minus the advance booking fee and the applicable VAT, against return of the original tickets. As a rule, the refund is handled by the respective sales outlet where the ticket was purchased. The claim for reimbursement of the ticket price expires if it is not asserted within a period of 14 days, calculated from the date of the performance, at the sales point where the ticket was purchased, unless the respective advance booking office grants longer return periods. No liability is assumed for changes in cast and/or programme that occur without the influence of the Alte Oper Frankfurt.

The Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves the right to make seat changes due to short-term production-related alterations and setups.

Delayed concertgoers can only be admitted during the interval; they have no claim to the seat they have purchased.
