Programme
This is the sound of friendship. It is also the sound of infinite serenity, melancholy, consolation and unearthly beauty. Mozart's Clarinet Quartet embraces the listener like an intimate embrace. He wrote this masterpiece for his friend, the clarinettist Anton Stadler. A soothing comfort in the hustle and bustle of city life, supported by another close artistic friendship: he feels honoured, says Pablo Barragán, to be able to make music with an ensemble like the Quatuor Modigliani. In two decades of artistic activity, the Modiglianis have established themselves as one of the most sought-after string quartets in the world. A high-calibre lunchtime concert that invites you to immerse yourself in Mozart. After the half-hour concert, a light snack will provide both physical and intellectual refreshment.
Concert lasts approximately 30 minutes
Snacks are available in the interval foyers on levels 2 and 3 (included in the ticket price).
