Youth Subscription

As part of the 'Ein Zehner bis 25' campaign, we have raised the age limit: the subscription is now valid for everyone up to the age of 25!

Concert meeting point: On the first concert evening of the subscription (22 November 2025), we invite all young subscribers to a get-together with free drinks.

Too young to attend concerts without your parents? We offer a 50% discount off the full ticket price for accompanying adults for young person's up to 17 years of age (one accompanying adult per subscription).

From the 2025/26 season, the subscription can be booked online. Seats are selected directly from the seating plan for each performance during the booking process.

All Young Subscribers will receive a digital programme  booklet (in German) by email a few days before the concert.

Cancellation/Extension
Existing subscriptions will be extended by one season if they are not cancelled by 6 May 2025. This extension does not apply to youth subscriptions tickets for the 2025/26 season onwards.

Age limit
The Youth Subscription is valid for young people up to and including the age of 25. This means that the young person must not be older than 25 on the last day of the event. 

Proof of age
A valid proof of age must be presented at the door when attending a concert. A copy of a student card is usually sufficient.

Accompanying adults:
If the youth subscription holder is 17 years of age or younger, an accompanying adult will receive a connecting seat at 50% of the regular price. 

Subscription as a ticket
Your season ticket is also valid as a second-class return ticket to the Alte Oper Frankfurt on all local public transport services operated by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV). Departure is possible at the earliest five hours before the performance begins, return until close of business on the day of the performance. The standard RMV transport and fare regulations apply.
