In difficult times, people in all cultures around the world continue to find strength and hope in music. The four concerts in the 'Music of the World' series are also such sources of universal experience in difficult times. The ensembles from the Caucasus, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Crimea sing and play with strong voices of breathtaking beauty against all odds, bringing their own musical traditions into the present.
Each concert promises moments of touch, comfort and musical exuberance - sounds that build peaceful bridges between cultures and enrich people.
